I drive another kilometer through the beautiful landscape before I reach my destination: the farmhouse of Es Racó d’Artà. Nestled between the mountains, wonderful days of peace and relaxation await me in southeastern Mallorca, about 3 km from Artà.
This small country estate belongs to the collection of Healing Hotels and offers me everything I need for inner and outer healing in a quiet and serene way from the very first moment.
The finca, dating back to the 13th century, traces its origins to a Berber settlement named Beni Axir, which means “sons of the blessed.” The facility has been lovingly awakened to life by its new owners, two Mallorcan entrepreneurs, Antoni Esteva and Jaume Danús, bringing happiness to us travelers in a wonderful way.
White and beige tones, natural materials everywhere you look, beautiful rooms and villas with a view and private pool. In the rooms of the main house, there is artwork that brings nature into the rooms and makes you sense, smell, and taste the land and its origin in a new way. The old oil press and the wine cellar of the finca are wonderfully preserved and showcased in the scene.
The estate offers the highest level of Mediterranean service in all areas, the rooms are lovingly furnished to the smallest detail, and the nearby small town of Artà is a popular destination for the favorite island of the Germans.
On the huge farm grounds, vegetables and fruit are grown and processed in the kitchen into delicious dishes. Fish and meat come from nearby fishermen and producers, and the wine comes from the excellent wineries of Mallorca.

With a rental car, it takes about an hour from Palma de Mallorca airport to the small town of Artà. The landscape becomes more hilly and mountainous as you go. The finca is situated on a hill and the view from up there over the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. The air is wonderfully clear, filled with the scent of flowers and herbs. This alone provides a feeling of relaxation and well-being.
